LOCATION
Boyds Bay Houseboat Holidays office and houseboats are located on the beautiful tranquil waters of the Tweed River. A subtropical climate of blue skies and sunshine and fantastic sunsets.
- You will board your houseboat from the Tweed Marina, River Terrace, Tweed Heads. Only five minutes from downtown Coolangatta - the southern end of Australia's Gold Coast.
Large shopping malls and supermarkets are close by, so don't worry if you have forgotten a few things.
Arriving by plane into Coolangatta Airport (Gold Coast Airport)
The airport is located only 10 minutes away from the Tweed Marina. Jump into a taxi and you will be with us in no time. One of our friendly staff will take you to the supermaket to pick up your provisions, it's that easy. Our marina is surrounded by fresh seafood shops, so you can gather a few fresh fat king prawns or juicy oysters to take away with you.
Arriving by plane into Brisbane International or Domestic Airport
Brisbane Airport is one hour and twenty minutes drive to the Tweed Marina. There are various ways to reach our marina, Airtrain, Bus, Hire a car, Limousine. Give us a call and we can advise you of your best option.
Access by Car from the South
- Heading North on the Pacific Highway past Chinderah / Kingscliff exits. Cross the Tweed River at Barney's Point and head up and over Sextons Hill.
- Take the left hand lane into Tweed South
- Travel along Minjungbal Drive and over the Boyds Bay Bridge
- Once over the bridge and through the set of traffic lights take your first right - River Terrace (Regatta Restaurant on corner of River Terrace)
- Follow River Terrace around and you have now arrived at the Tweed Marina.
Access by Car from the North
- Heading South, the Pacific and Gold Coast Highways merge into one at Tugun, just North of Coolangatta Aiport (Gold Coast Airport).
- Travel past the airport, stay on the Pacific Highway and you will cross into New South Wales.
- Take the first exit on left marked Kennedy Drive, Tweed Heads
- Left at roundabout, you are now heading East along Kennedy Drive towards Tweed Heads
- Travel along Kennedy Drive, just before the Boyds Bay Bridge take the exit on the left - Tweed Heads.
- Through set of traffic lights, take your first right - River Terrace (Regatta Restaurant on corner of River Terrace)
- Follow River Terrace around and you have now arrived at the Tweed Marina.
