Dear Michelle, Peter, Louise & Staff,
Just a note to let you know how pleased & impressed we were with the
friendly, efficient service we experienced recently when we hired one of
your house boats (Island Dream). It was great adventure & we would have no
hesitation in recommending Boyd's Bay houseboats to anyone.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Peter who came out early (in
the rain) on the Friday to bring us back to base. This was greatly
appreciated as some of us had a long drive ahead to get back home.
Please find enclosed a couple of photos taken on our 'voyage'.
Kind regards,
"The Clan McFarlane"

Hi Peter & Michelle
For along time we have been going on your houseboat "Jean" and later we took a liking to the "Tweed Princess" and never looked back. We have been on "Tweed Princess" a few times now and we re-book every year on our return.
We have a few friends over for a BBQ and spa, and the three double bedrooms are great for "stay over mates".
We feel the cost is not too high and affordable for what we actually get. I get rowed to shore daily for excercise and a few bread rolls and fresh pawns direct from the boats, otherwise all supplies are brought with us on arrival. We never go to dinner ashore - why would you, when you can sit on the top deck, sip cold beer or champers, see the beautiful sunsets. Brekkie is just as good where one can watch the dolphins swim along side your beautiful "Tweed Princess".
Thank you Peter & Michelle for another great hoilday - we will see you all again soon.

Dear Peter & Michelle
Have just read the comments from Gail & Ian and can only agree totally about the level of service and friendliness given by you and your staff.
I had intended to write sooner but the real world got in my way.
Our last trip in early December was again a wonderful experience only one small complaint, we got board shelling mudcrabs! LOL
We will again be adventuring to the wonderful world of the Tweed in mid February, which will make it our ninth trip in two years only wish it could be more.
To anyone who visits your site i can only say book a holiday and enjoy an unforgettable experience.
Regards
Ronnie, Carole and our Captian Derrick.

Dear Peter & Michelle
Just a quick note to say thank you for the wonderful holiday we had aboard "Jean" this Christmas. I have written a little of our experience below so you can add it to your website if you wish.
We were expecting our family to spend Christmas Day on board with us with each person bringing something specific for the meal. My job was to provide the turkey. I excitedly prepared the turkey for cooking in the brand new oven, when lo and behold.....the flame refused to remain alight. OMG!!!! What were we going to do? We absolutely did not want to distrub Peter & Michelle on Christmas Day. I kept trying, thinking I was doing something wrong, but eventually had to admit defeat and with a sinking heart I called Peter, thinking he could talk me through the procedure over the phone. No..... he hopped aboard his trusty steed and came to the rescue. Within a half hour, he arived at our boat with a big smile on his dial and proceeded to fix the oven. (There was a fault nobody was aware of because I was the first to use the new oven to cook anything). It took a little while to get it going, but Peter remained there until he was satisfied it was not going to go out again before he left to enjoy his own day. I am so grateful not only to Peter for saving the day (not to mention saving me from family scorn for no turkey), but for the gracious way he handled it.
The smile never left his face, his attitude was upbeat, and we were never made to feel bad about disturbing his Christmas Day. I have no doubt at all that Peter would have taken the turkey back to his place to cook it for me himself if the oven could not be made to work. Later in the trip, my darling husband caught the anchor chain around the "thinghy" because he forgot to unhook the "doovy" first. Another call for rescue, once again handled with ease and humour.
Thank you thank you thank you for making our first solo houseboat experience a great one.
If anybody is ever thinking about a houseboat holiday and valves that old fashioned thing called "service" I thoroughly recommend Boyds Bay Houseboats as the way to go.
From the moment I made the first enquiry and spoke to Michelle, I felt like I was treated like a personal friend. Peter & Michelle, along with their happy, friendly staff absolutely made our trip.
The houseboat was thoroughly clean and totally comfortable.
We will definitely be using Boyds Bay Houseboats again in the furture. Maybe we will even be brave enough to go right down the river next time.
Warm Regards
Gail & Ian
