We can offer you three options to book your holiday

1.  Use the Book Online Now button (orange button) found on most pages of our web site.  When you use our Book Online system, you will receive a FREE OUTBOARD MOTOR with your dinghy while out on your houseboat holiday.

2.  Use our Booking Form - click on blue Booking Form line below.

3.  Phone our office to book your houseboat holiday.

Deposit

  • All you require is a deposit of $200.00, this will then become part payment of your houseboat hire fee and is required to reach our office within seven days after making your reservation. Your deposit can be paid over the phone by credit card, internet banking or can be mailed to Boyds Bay Houseboat Holidays. 
  • Payment by Visa or Mastercard will incurr a 2% surcharge
  • Payment by Amex will incurr a 5% surcharge
  • Book On Line - Simple & easy, no fees apply when booking on line.  Full payment of hire fee is required at time of booking.
  • On receipt of your deposit, a confirmation letter will be mailed to you.

Hire Fee Balance

  • Payment can be made by cash or credit card (Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard & Amex). Internet banking.  Cheques by prior arrangement
  • Payment by Visa or Mastercard will incurr a 2% surcharge.
  • Payment by Amex will incurr a 5% surcharge.
  • The Balance of your hire fee is due 21 days prior to departure.
  • For Christmas and New Year the balance of your hire fee is due 60 days prior to departure. 
  • Easter bookings, the balance of your hire fee is due 30 days prior to departure.
  • If the balance of your houseboats hire fee is not paid in full by the due date, the vessel may be opened for re-letting.

 

Paying off your Balance

  • You can also pay off your balance in installments if you choose
  • You decide on how much you can afford either weekly, fortnightly or monthly
  • Payments can be direct credited to bank account, or by credit card
  • There is no extra charge for this service.

Security Bond

  • A Security Bond is required on all our houseboats. Details can be found located under the heading 'Hire Fees' as the bond varies depending on which houseboat you choose.
  • The bond will be refunded to you within seven days of completion of your hire less fuel and other consumables including outboard hire if applicable, provided no damage or loss of equipment has occurred.
  • Payment of your security/bond may be made by cash or Credit card (Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard & Amex) Cheques by prior arrangement.

Cancellations

  • Thirty (30) days notice - refund in full, less administration fee of $50
  • Thirty(30) to Twenty One (21) days notice the deposit is forfeited, unless the boat is rebooked for full price.
  • Twenty One (21) days or less - deposit and balance of hire forfeited, unless boat is rebooked for full price.
  • A $50.00 cancellation /administration fee will apply to all cancellations or transfer of bookings.
